About Blodie

Born in New Orleans, trumpeter Gregory "Blodie" Davis is owner of Blodie Entertainment, an events company that procures entertainment for private parties, weddings, conventions, casinos, and every kind of event, big or small. In the music industry for over 40 years, Blodie is founder and leader of the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Jazz Coordinator for the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, an Educator of Music Business at Loyola University, and has performed on 5 continents, bringing New Orleans music around the world. Combining his experience and the relationships he has built along the way, Blodie is a one-stop shop for booking any and every kind of music.

He also produces educational workshops on traditional New Orleans music for people of all ages.

About Christine

Christine Baer White is the Executive Director of Blodie Entertainment LLC. Working alongside Gregory “Blodie” Davis to curate, negotiate, and contract talent for events, Christine can design the soundtrack for your party. She has a special gift for pairing live music to entertain any type of event from a small backyard party and cocktail soiree to weddings, galas, and large-scale corporate events. In addition to Christine's work with Blodie, she has been a member of the music department of the world-renowned New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival for 28 years where she currently holds the position of Talent Buyer & Programming Manager. Throughout her time in New Orleans, she has cultivated relationships with musicians of all genres with a special interest in brass bands and Mardi Gras Indians.
